Biography

Ministerial visionary, apostolic trailblazer, and spiritual shepherd to many disciples throughout the United States, Pastor Kevin D. Rivers began fulfilling his call to ministry in 1997 when he began serving as assistant pastor at True Vine Baptist Church in Syracuse, NY. After the leading of the Holy Ghost, Pastor Rivers was lead to submit to the tutelage of Dr. Israel Blake of D.J.M. Ministries in Thomasville, GA in 1998, where he was licensed and ordained. After a few years serving as assistant pastor and evangelizing the northeast region, Pastor Rivers obeyed the Lord's voice and founded House of Disciples Church of Jesus Ministries in Syracuse, NY in 2002. The anointing of God has opened several stages for the ministry that God has put into this prolific leader in the person of Pastor Rivers. In 2002, after God aligned Pastor Rivers to mentor and global shepherd from Dallas, TX Bishop T.D. Jakes, he became a member of P.H.I.P.A. (Potters House International Pastoral Alliance). In 2005, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Rivers founded a mission church in Tampa, FL called Palace of Praise, where he serves as Senior Pastor. "For the palace is not for man but for the Lord our God." Pastor Rivers is a Bible-Basing God-Chasing servant of the Lord. Pastor Rivers has two beautiful children Kevin and Destiny who he attributes his love and commitment of family from. He currently resides in Tampabay area with his family. His favorite scripture is St. John Ch. 5 Vs. 39. His personal quote is "It has to reveal Jesus, whatever you do or say!"
